Advantage Security, Inc. (ASI) has provided both security and customer service to its clients for over 30 years in the Denver and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking exceptional candidates for Full-Time Security Officer/Floater positions in the Denver area.

Shifts:

Full-time: 40 hour shifts

Swings (3 p.m. - 11 p.m.) - Need 4

Days (7AM to 3PM) - Need 1

Graves (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.) Need 1

Duties of a Floater/Rover Security Officer:

Security Officers with ASI are accountable for monitoring and controlling the access of employees, visitors, and contractors to various client-owned buildings, as well as advising and escorting individuals into spaces. Officers will be required to maintain security records and reports during their shifts. Other responsibilities, of our security officers, include; the protection of property, the protection against security threats, the avoidance of hazardous situations, and preserving order at designated properties. The position of a Floater/Rover requires you to be dependable and adaptable in order to support multiple client sites across Denver and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities of a Floater/Rover:

• Provide security services at various locations as assigned
• Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism
• Respond quicky and effectively to incidents
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and Security Operations Center
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate logs
• The ability to relocate to a new site last minute
• Ability to adapt to different site protocols and environments

Basic Requirements for a Security Officer/Floater:

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• US citizenship or possess the right to work permit
• Able to pass a drug screen test and background check (to include THC)
• Fluently speak, read, and write English
• Able to obtain a Security Guard License
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office experience a plus)
• 1 to 2 years security experience

Desired Skills for a Security Officer:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience a plus but not required
• Ability to remain calm and focused
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
